
Some Books are More Difficult to Translate than Others
In Kotomi Li's 彼岸花が咲く島, the author weaves language and East Asian history in such a way that makes it really hard to translate. I explain why.
inContext is a novel AI dictionary that creates unique, context-informed definitions specifically tailored to the user's language level. It works as a browser extension that serves definitions quickly and with minimal hassle. inContext is capable of handling all kinds of words that regular dictionaries aren't able to. Definitions can also be saved and exported to Anki.
Scraped all articles published on Towards Data Science and applied LDA to explore the most common article topics. Then, we explored how these topics evolved over time.
